1.Go to Tomioka Silk Mill (UNESCO)
The factory in Tomioka City is established in 1872.This is a mechanical silk-reeling factory located in Tomioka City.The building is over 140 years old and remains in good condition.The tour lasts for one hour.You can look around freely or there will be a guide.
2．Enter the Hot Spring!
Gunma has many hot springs.Kusatsu Onsen is one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan.You can see where the hot springs bubble up.This place is popular and has a lot of tourist.
My recommendation is Manza Onsen.There is hot spring water bubbling up from the ground.The hot spring flows like a river.Dangerous gases are being emitted from Kusatsu Onsen and Manza Onsen.This is volcanic energy.The hot spring it contains are one of the few in Japan and are of excellent quality.This is a great hot spring,however,there are few tourists here because there are no souvenir shops.Not suitable for those who want to stay in a nice hotel.
3.Go to Megane Bridge
It is a brick arch bridge.The bridge is 20 miles high.Building a bridge in this location is difficult,but the engineering is amazing and impressive.
4.Go to Onioshidasi Park
This scenic spot was formed by solidified lava from the eruption of Mount Asama.
5.Climbing Mount Tanigawa
This is a famous mountain in Gunma.You can take the ropeway to the top of the mountain,where you can see a spectacular view.There is a shrine and cafe at the top of the mountain where you can relax.
6.Doai Station
This place used to be a filming location for Japanese movies.There aren’t many passengers.This unmanned station has 462 steps leading to the platform.It takes 10 minutes to get to the train platform.This place is used by climbers of Mt.Tanigawa.
