Sunosaki Lighthouse

This is the southernmost lighthouse in Chiba Prefecture.The contrast between the blue sea and the buildings is beautiful.It was built in 1919.It is best to visit by car.On a clear day,you can see Mt.Fuji.I could see Yokohama’s Miura Peninsula in the distance.I was impressed by how wonderful the scenery was. Tokuganji Temple

It used to be a small temples,but during the Edo period,Tokugawa Ieyasu enlarged the temple.You can ring the bell on New Year’s Eve at this temple.Access is 30 minutes by train from Tokyo Station.It is believed by people in this area.I walked around this area and thought there were many temples.Why?This place is surrounded by rivers.In the past,this area was prosperous as a salt farm.

Sunosaki Shrine

It has a long history,and Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed here and won against the Heike.If the weather is good,you can see the wonderful sea and Mt.Fuji.But this place is very far away.It is 3 hours by train from Tokyo Station.It’s far away,but there weren’t many tourists and I was able to take my time to see it.

Katsushika Hachimangu Shrine

This shrine was built around 880 at the request of Emperor Uda.Minamoto no Yoritomo visited the shrine to pray for good forture.This place is 30 minutes by train fron Tokyo Station.There are no big buildings here,but the nearest station is busy.I found out about this shrine on Google Maps.Although it is not a large shrine,local people visit it.The ginkgo tree.which is a naturel monument,is over 1300 years old.I think humans are small.

Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple

This temple enshrines a Buddha statue called Fudo Myoo brought from Kyoto in 940.It is one of the very famous temples in Japan.There are many buildings in a very large area.The Ichikawa family of Kabuki actors worship this temple.Ten million worshipers come here.I was surprised at the size of this temple.I think shoes that are easy to walk on are good.Access is 30 minutes from Narita Airport.It’s an hour and a harf from Tokyo Station. I put my hands together to express my gratitude. There are 1000 books containing Buddha’s teachings. There are 36 Buddha statues of children.Can you see? I had a hard time seaching.

Shinhama Kamoba(Shinhama Imperial Wild Duck Preserve)

During the Edo period,the Tokugawa Shogun played a game of catching wild duks.The Japanese imperial family took over duk hunting.This is where the current Crown Prince proposed to Empress Masako.To view this, the general public must apply on the Imperial Household Agency’s website.The date has not been decided.Tour time is one and a half hours.You can tour for free.I went in March 1st of this year.I introcduce this tour. Urayasu City Folk Museum

This is a place where you can learn about the history of Urayasu City.There are wonderful exhibits inside the museum,and it’s surprising that you can see them for free. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entrance on the first floor.🛜 A long time ago,Urayasu City was a salt producing area.Because it’s close to the sea.Since then,it has developed into a fishing town.This corner contains materials from that time. Tokyo Bay was developed during the period of high economic growth starting in 1955.Fishing is no longer possible.This land was then reclaimed. The fish in the tank are from Tokyo Bay.
